Ultra High Efficiency Water Heater Upgrade
An Educational Facility in Whitby, Ontario Canada was experiencing water heater issues related to the tanks reaching the end of their life.
To avoid downtime, future repair/maintenance costs and to save money on energy, the building owner decided it was time for an upgrade.
The contractor was hired to source-out and complete the project. The job involved the removal of the existing water heaters/venting, upgrading the tanks to a higher capacity/energy rating and installing them.
The building was upgraded from standard atmospheric water heaters to Bradford White EF Ultra High Efficiency. This was done to save on fuel costs and increase recovery speed. The thermal efficiency on these water heaters is up to 99.1%.
